Community Halls Capital Grant Fund
West Devon Borough Council has opened another round of funding for communities
Grants will be awarded for capital projects (e.g. one-off costs, costs of a permanent item, refurbishment or structure)
Organisations may apply for small grants (up to £5,000) or larger grants (up to £25,000). The minimum grant that can be awarded is £500.
Priority will be given to community halls/buildings where:
- Limited other community infrastructure exists.
- Support will demonstrably help to improve the resilience of a community hall/building, either through reduced bills or increased revenue.
- Community facilities will be able to provide additional services to their communities, which are not provided by other local organisations.
- Organisations address at least some of our investment principles as set out in the application form.
Applications to the Community Halls Capital Grant Fund are now open and will close at midnight on Tuesday 12 May 2026. It is anticipated that you will be informed of the outcome of your application in mid-June 2026.
