Parish Council Decision: Object to the application. There is already a drive to Yelfords, this drive could be easily widened by moving the wire fence and creating a bank or hedge for trees and wildlife. The current drive is solid and used to be a traditional hard track. At the top of the drive there is ample room to divide the drive in order that both properties have a private access. The drive previously served the Chauffeur’s accommodation and the garage as well as the main House. Yelfords Cottage and garden is a well-manicured property, if the National Park is minded to grant permission, there should be a clause stipulating the new access remains a track with a traditional field hedge and does not become a grand entrance with electric gates with a made up road.
